Where to Begin

What product is best for me? How do I go about getting a countertop? How much will it cost? All these and many more questions will arise in the course of the process. With the limitless options available to you, it’s difficult to know where to begin and what questions to ask.

1. The best way to start is by researching what’s out there. Online tools are the first step, but there is no substitute for seeing the products first hand by visiting one of our galleries.

2. Learn about the process. Understanding what’s involved and what to expect is critical. Take some time to browse the “What to Expect” page and familiarize yourself with the process and check out our video that explains the process.

3. Print the Countertop Worksheet and sketch your countertop. For help on how to make your sketch, check out Countertop Worksheet Example 1 and  Countertop Worksheet Example 2. Make notes on what you like and don’t like. Take some photos of the kitchen from various angles (these are helpful for you salesperson, but they are also great for before and after photos).
